Trekking point to the holy temple was around 10kms away from our camps. We left around 10am and reached at starting point around 11 O'clock. From there we took shoes and stick on rent to trek. If you ever go for Tungnath trek I would suggest you to go as early as possible in order to get your shoes as per your comfort.
So, finally we started our journey around 11:30 with a bottle of maaza and few packets of chips.
After walking for only 10 min, we talked to people who were returning to know how is the way ahead and how much time it took them to reach and return. Many of them replied that they did not even go to Tungnath temple because its very difficult to trek after 1km. So, they were returning from half way only. It disappointed us and we also thought that would also not be able to reach temple.
But anyways, we started walking.
Only after 1/2km, the view was so fantastic, it was snowy everywhere around. We stopped there, clicked pics, played with snow for almost 30-40 min.
And then started our trek again.

In our way, we met a group of people who very determined to reach even Chandrashila, so it gave us hope. That if we have come here, then we would also till Tungnath atleast. We helped each other on the way to reach.
Honestly, the trek was very difficult, it became very difficult to walk in snow and it was slippery too.We were literally dieing to have water. But this time it was Snow , Snow everywhere
But no water to drink. So, we started eating snow to quench our thirst to some extend and due to our great determination and blessing of Lord Shiva We finally reached the temple.

The view from there was breathtaking. My heart skipped the beat when I was standing near the temple and looked around me. Snowy mountains, spiritual atmosphere and mesmerising view took my heart. We stopped there for 30-40 min. Paid obediences to Lord Shiva. Took pics and started to come back. It was even difficult to climb dowm too. As it was getting darker with the time and the way was very slippery. And somewhere around 6:30. We reached back.
It was an amazing experience
